Maureen cut her teeth in the public relations office of the California Department of Education. She then went on to a varied career in communications including journalism, public speaking, media relations, and community outreach.
She has taught marketing best practices to hundreds through her small business seminars. She writes Maureen’s Marketing Moment, an email newsletter on small business marketing that is read worldwide.
A travel aficionado, she has zip-lined in Mexico, explored an Egyptian pyramid by flashlight, and slept in a 12th-century Austrian castle.

Celia started her career in the Latin American Marketing Group at Apple Computer. Stints at two Silicon Valley communications firms gave her broad experience working with a range of high-profile clients such as Hewlett-Packard and Toshiba.
A published author and experienced writer, Celia has a mastery of language that allows her to choose just the right word to convey a message.
As a dedicated fan of the arts, Celia has donated her talent to groups such as Placer Theatre Ballet and Marin Dance Theatre. She also enjoys sharing her bilingual skills by teaching Spanish classes to middle-schoolers.
